The reason WWE is not as good nowadays, besides Vince's "Yes Men" like Bruce Pritchard, to me, is douchebags like Kevin Dunn that never watched Wrestling, never cared about Wrestling, never cared enough to learn about it, & wants to have a Hollywood type product, b/c they aren't talented enough to make it in actual Hollywood!

The first couple of minutes, showed the difference b/t Paul E., & people like The Young Bucks, Omega, & over 1/2 of that AEW Roster. When asked what's the difference b/t Advocate & Special Council, the answer, is obviously, 1 can cut a hell of a promo & the other can't, which is exactly how those guys would've answered it. Paul E., answered the question in a respectful way to the business, got to the same & rt answer, & everyone listening heard it & understood the exact same way, while still being respectful to the business & the people who came B4 them.

Money is in the TV rights deals...WWE gets $465M per for raw and SD... AEW needs to prove it consistently draw in viewers and grow that viewer base until it can secure a bigger TV rights deal...most promotions run out of money to cover operating costs before they do this....AEW is going in the right direction and khan can cover the costs until the big TV payday comes

Speaking on the role of "The Manager" this is where Heyman is an innovator, constantly transforming his skillset into newer iterations. Stars come & go but a chameleon has never left. However, that aside, I think the "manager" role also exists in the form of when a wrestler takes a younger wrestler under their wing & one of the more exciting ones to emerge recently is the pairing of Jeff Hardy & Aaliyah, I think they have a really interesting buddy/buddy - brother/sister chemistry that would go on to spark great emotionally invested storylines of old. Controversy, adversity, redemption, loss, rise to stardom. It'd be really cool to keep developing that bond.

Despite Heymans attempts to sell Roman Reigns' "greatness" I just don't think of him as the Michael Jordan of this generation. Roman Reigns remains to this day a fabricated "Top Guy" because they had none. Even though Roman Reigns is the biggest in the company it's not due to immense talent or overwhelming fandom like Hulk Hogan or The Rock have experienced it's more so that he's been well positioned among a vastly degraded product (since John Cena ushered in the PG-era WWE) & surrounded by wrestlers that fit this new low-quality product making them inferior & greatly held back.

Such an unconvincing interview by Heyman. He couldnt hide his thoughts about AEW. Kept on beating about the bush. Good for him the money he's making at WWE. He certainly wouldnt get that anywhere else but I feel it's a shame his ideas won't ever fully be realized at that company. He'll thrive financially there but would become creatively unhappy of the boredom being produced by WWE. And maybe the money would never let him admit that. (from a fan hoping him to see at AEW)

However, I feel Paul is very insightful and that level of depth in his domain of expertise can be at times successfully extrapolated in other areas as well.

Heyman's incredible understanding of character work is what makes him a master, his pairing with Roman is essential to The Tribal Chief's storyline. EDIT: Paul acknowledging that Roman's problem is lack of viable opponents is very cool, they know this storyline has an expiration date.
