Rudiger is such a good player and clearly key to Chelsea. If Roman is smart he’ll give him the contract he deserves.

Deserves is fine .. being greedy is different .. we aren't a club like Bayern or ManU or real Madrid to give huge contract , if we give him it will decimate the dressing room and everyone will demand like that .. I trust our board so whatever offer they have made would have been the best they could have offered

Ruidiger has so much leverage in this contract negotiation. Roman Abramovich should just give him what ever he wants. He has been a key figure since Thomas Tuchel arrived. Other than that it's great to see Kante score.

Disagree I think he has little leverage. Since Tuchel has came in no matter who we’ve played in that back 3, we’ve been solid. Granted Rudiger has played majority of that but the odd time he’s missed, we haven’t really missed a beat. His only leverage is that we don’t really have a defender of his style to replace him. We don’t have anybody with us tenacity or aggressiveness. I 100% want him to stay regardless

Gotta think about the long term health of the club. If we give him the 200k a week he wants, that's going to affect everyone's negotiations moving forward potentially compromising the financial health of the club. If it was Kante then sure, impossible to find another Kante (that's why he makes 290k). Rudiger is good but he's no van Dijk or Marquinhos.

Against Liverpool aswell was a lovely solo goal, he’s too good, people applaud is defensive work but his spark in attack is underrated

Pochettino is clearly clueless for calling Chelsea a defensive team whereas our stats and performance shows otherwise. He needs to focus on his team. Antonio Rüdiger should have been nominated for the Ballon d'Or. He has had a tremendous season. There's only one reason for that, he's German and France Football hates German players. It's been like this for many years.

Tuchel is just brilliant at his job & what a job he's done since walking in the building, he knows how & when to push his players to challenge his players to praise them plus shield them & finally nurture them his man management skills make Chelsea such a strong squad not just a team. Said it from the start he has all the tools to take Chelsea to the very top in the league & Europe he's done former can he now win the league & retain CL it's all there for the taking

Rudiger is integral to our central defence not just his ability but his leadership at the back has really shone through this season. I noticed it in the first few games. His leadership has been brilliant, this season hes taking the responsibility like a champ.

I'm confident we'll win the league especially with the way we're playing. Let's do this boys.💙

Man City we’re 10 points off in December a few years ago and won it. The more Tuchel plays, the more managers will figure out how to play against him. Chelsea are playing solid right now but it’s still way too early to call it.

But this isn't a case where managers just need to figure out how to play against him. we've seen every formation and tactics under the sun against Chelsea recently and the only one that truly worked was Manchester city's this season, and that was a close 1-0 win for them. even if the system does get figured out, the sheer quality of the chelsea players is enough to turn close games into wins

Chelsea played well and Tuchel once again got his tactics spot on, but Leicester were woeful. At times it reminded me of a cat playing with a mouse for amusement. Leicester offered absolutely nothing and no point in Rodgers introducing new Players at half time, if he is not going to change the system, which quite clearly was not working. Compared to other seasons, Leicester are going backwards and Rodgers does not seem to have the answer to it. if the rumors are true and Man Utd are looking towards Rodgers to be their next Manager, i am finding it very hard to see why they would want him. Personally and going by Leicester's showing this Season, replacing Solskjaer with Rodgers and although Solskjaer does need replacing, to do so with Rodgers, would be going from bad to worse. Good three point for Chelsea though...Also nice to see Pulisic not only getting on the score sheet, but managing to stay injury free for 5 minutes :0) Chelsea also need to keep hold of Christensen and Rudiger if they can. Although i would love to see either playing for Bayern and Rudiger especially, would be the perfect fit for us and the Bundesliga.

I think Chelsea have enough fortunes and the way they are playing, it won't be hard to convince Rudi and Christensen to stay, unless Chelsea get a swap deal for Sule and Rudiger.😂😂😂. As for United is concerned, the whole coaching staff should have been fired, they were the ones coaching the team, firing Ole wouldn't have solved the problem, firing the coaching staff would have. If Utd had decided to change their personnel, things might have improved, plus their squad is extremely problematic, extremely selfish players, similar to PSG.
