Eh. He came 2nd last year. Pretty apparent that he was improving United year on year. But it's reached a point where the squad's too good for him. He doesn't know how to make them into a top top team - just like Frank. There was always that doubt but I wouldn't call it being inept for years. Same thing with Arteta. Wouldn't call him inept yet. He seems to be improving the squad so Arsenal should see how far he can go. When it looks like he can't take them to the next level get rid of him.

That's just a straight up lie. Don't make stuff up just tell it like it is. 18/19 - United were the laughing stocks. But mainly because of Mourinho not Ole. 19/20 - Arsenal and Spurs were the laughing stocks. United improved under Ole and scraped 3rd but weren't really seen as laughing stocks. 20/21 - Arsenal and Spurs were once again the laughing stocks and United improved under Ole once again finishing 2nd. 21/22 - United are once again the laughing stocks because the board backs Ole and people consider them title contenders only for them to regress. It's clear Ole's reached his ceiling and a better coach is needed to turn United into a competitive team.

@@kanenulty3046 3 years ago. It worked out for them. They went from scraping top 6 to scraping top 4 to comfortably finishing 2nd. His success at improving United led to the board backing him to the quality of players at the club is significantly better than what it would've been if they'd done the same old sack him and get someone else in. It's obvious Ole's hit a ceiling. He doesn't know how to make his team competitive and United need a top coach. But he's not done a horrible job at United - the board should've just sacked him much earlier into the season when it became apparent he was out of his depth.

Sometimes its about change from the inside not bringing someone new...the cycle might just be the same...it's been this way since Sir Alex retired 1-3 years and things go bad and then let's change. That constant change is also a problem...

"I'm paid to give an opinion" but remains tentative about giving a specific answer to whom he feels can do a better job. That's the sort of genius we've come to expect from Rio.

Problem Is not the manager , how many gaffers did we have before ole, moyes, van gaal, murinho. There's totally something wrong with , probably the second in command from ole, the goalkeeping coach, the board room and the whole lot of them, a new coach will only Impact the first four games and the the team will slump again, let them concentrate on youth players and maybe in the nex few years progress will be seen

I wish I thought getting rid of the manager solves the problems at united but there's way more. We've got players that are can't cope with the pressure of playing at such a big club with huge expectations in front of big crowds. We've got big players that I suspect have been tapped up that are torn between sticking it out and going somewhere that's not such a mess, then there's all the tactical and team selection issues. We're a mess.

MU MUST KEEP OLE!!! He needs more time. Give him more time! Sign him to a 30-year contract right now. MU's performance has been bringing a lot of enjoyment to a lot of people. Fans of 19/20 EL teams totally enjoy watching Ole manages MU! Van de Beek rarely plays and when Ole put him on, he scores! Such legendary manager. Purely extraordinary.

The players have to take just as much fault! Their the ones who do the work on the pitch!

Ole needs to be supported and given more time, Varane has been injured, the midfield has been a problem for a while now. He went last season away unbeaten, built the best counter attacking side in Europe, now when new members come in, team breaks. Same happened last season with Chelsea and Liverpool - give him time.
